The fourth anniversary of the Iraq War is upon us. Aware that labor has a key role to play in ending this inferno, your union representatives on Local 7902's Joint Council have voted to march with the ACT-UAW banner in the Sunday March 18 anti-war demonstration in New York.

We invite you to join us, meet other ACT-UAW members, and stand in solidarity with organized labor against the war. We will assemble at 1:00pm at 39th street between 5th and 6th Avenue (closer to 6th). This is the designated meeting location for labor contingents and immigrant rights groups.

Opinion polls show support for the war at all-time lows. As a Democratic-led Congress ponders how to stop the mayhem, the Bush Administration has just renewed its vows to maintain a massive, long-term presence in the country it smashed in violation of international law. Now is a crucial time for citizen action.
